Structural Micro-Topping & Penetrating Protection.
The Surface Armor™ System is a high-performance, polymer-modified, single-component restoration suite designed for the rigorous demands of repairs to both concrete and asphalt substrates. Engineered as a thin-mil, two-coat cementitious system that can be used alone for filling small cracks and surface overlays up to 1/16” (1.6mm) or applied as a final refining layer over Elephant Armor® structural repairs to harmonize severely damaged areas with existing surfaces.
While many overlays are purely aesthetic, Surface Armor™ is engineered for high-demand, heavy-duty environments. The fine aggregate allows for a range of textures; from smooth trowel finishes to high-traction broom or spray-applied surfaces. The system readily accepts liquid or powder pigments for integral coloring. By combining the Engineering Innovation of Surface Armor® with the deep-penetrating protection of Ecobeton Vetrofluid®, we are doing more than just stabilizing and repairing a surface; we are performing Capital Preservation.
This system-wide approach creates a permanent, monolithic bond that renders the surface virtually impermeable. By stopping the 'corrosion clock' and neutralizing the damaging effects of extreme thermal cycling, we provide a future-proofed solution that protects the underlying infrastructure for the long haul.

The Role of Ecobeton® Vetrofluid®
Substrate Stabilizacion
Vetrofluid® is applied to deteriorated areas before the repair mortar to penetrate the existing concrete on average up to 1.5 inches and the new concrete 3 inches, providing a hardened, stable foundation to ensure a permanent repair.
Fortifies the Matrix
A final coat of Vetrofluid® triggers a crystalline reaction that seals the surface against water, salts, and oils.
Enables Heavy Use
Vetrofluid® provides the wear resistance necessary for high-volume vehicular traffic.
Future-Proofs the Repair
Vetrofluid® blocks chloride ion penetration and carbonation, preserving both the repair and the underlying substrate.
Ductile Performance for Rigid Demands
Surface Armor™ Advantages
Fills and hides small spalls and cracks
It acts as a high-strength "filler," bridging hairline fractures and spalling to create a uniform surface. This prevents water from seeping into cracks and causing further freeze-thaw damage.
Brings surfaces back to a ‘like new’ appearance
It provides a fresh, clean surface that masks the discoloration, aggregate exposure, and tired look of aged concrete or asphalt.
Significantly increases lifecycle
By creating a protective wear coat, Surface Armor™ shields the underlying substrate from UV rays, moisture, and chemical penetration.
Accepts liquid and powder pigments
It is highly versatile for design. Liquid or powder pigments can be added into the mix to achieve custom colors that go beyond standard "cement gray".
Can be finished smooth or textured
Depending on the tool used (squeegee trowel, broom, or spray), you can create a sleek interior floor or a non-slip, high-traction exterior surface.
Fast and easy to apply
Surface Armor™ is engineered for a quick "mix-and-go" workflow. Its flowable consistency allows for rapid coverage with minimal specialized equipment.
Interior and exterior use, including drive surfaces
It is tough enough to handle the weight of vehicles on driveways, yet refined enough for interior floors.
Can be applied over concrete or asphalt
Surface Armor™ bonds effectively to both rigid concrete and flexible asphalt, making it a "one-stop" solution for mixed-material properties.
Can be applied to vertical surfaces
Because it can be mixed to a thicker consistency, it can be applied to retaining walls, curbs, or stairs without running or sagging.
Extremely abrasion resistant
Once cured, it creates a dense surface that resists scuffing, scraping, and heavy foot or vehicle traffic better than any standard concrete overlay.
